On Saturday, September 19, I will be participating in BIKE HSS to benefit the metabolic bone division at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Metabolic bone health issues are among the leading causes of morbidity, affecting more than one in every two adults in the US. In fact, one in two women over the age of 50 will experience a fragility fracture in their lifetime.
Funds raised through BIKE HSS will accelerate Hospital for Special Surgery’s efforts to:
- Drive groundbreaking research for new treatments.
- Advance life-changing care at HSS and worldwide
