Dear Friends,
On Saturday, September 19, I will be participating in BIKE HSS to benefit Hospital for Special Surgery. I’m riding 25 miles with friends and a whole lot of other bikers!
Musculoskeletal issues are among the leading causes of disability, affecting more than one in every two adults in the US. Funds raised through BIKE HSS will accelerate Hospital for Special Surgery’s efforts to:
- Drive groundbreaking research for new treatments.
- Advance life-changing care at HSS and worldwide
- Pioneer innovative surgical techniques for the most complex orthopedic and rheumatic conditions
I am participating in support of every person who suffers from a musculoskeletal condition because MOVEment, health, and wellness are more important than ever. So many of my friends and family have had joint replacements—with more to come, I’m sure!—and HSS is at the cutting edge :-) of innovations that can benefit us all.
