Dear Friends and Family,

On Saturday, September 13, I will be participating in BIKE HSS to benefit Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS).

This ride is especially meaningful to me. A few years ago, I went to HSS for an ankle distraction arthroplasty surgery after dealing with acute ankle arthritis. The procedure was instrumental in helping me get to a place where I was no longer constantly in pain ? truly life-changing care that gave me back mobility and comfort in my daily life.

Musculoskeletal issues are among the leading causes of disability, affecting more than one in every two adults in the US. Funds raised through BIKE HSS will accelerate Hospital for Special Surgery?s efforts to:

• Advance groundbreaking research for new treatments.

• Provide patients with life-changing care, from diagnosis to recovery.

• Share expertise globally and educate the next generation of leaders in the field.

I?m riding in support of everyone who suffers from a musculoskeletal condition because movement, health, and wellness are more important than ever.
