Dear Friends,
Yesterday I completed a 62 mile ride as part of BIKE HSS 2025 to raise funds for global health efforts by Hospital for Special Surgery.
Musculoskeletal trauma creates more annual morbidity and mortality than tuberculosis, malaria, and HIV COMBINED (globalsurgeryfoundation.org).
Funds raised through BIKE HSS by my team will all go directly to Hospital for Special Surgery?s Global Musculoskeletal Health Equity Division. https://www.hss.edu/departments/global-musculoskeletal-health We are committed to building sustainable training programs in low and middle income countries around the world, and also in communities dramatically underserved at home.
I am participating in support of every person who suffers from a musculoskeletal condition and especially those around the world who can?t get reliable care ? yet.
No donation you contribute is too small or too large. 5 billion people around the world need our help, just as the uninsured and undocumented do here. We are committed to serving, treating, and teaching all those we can.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
All the best,
Andrew Grose, MD, MSc
