On Saturday, September 14, the HSS Hand and Upper Extremity Service will be proudly riding in BIKE HSS to help our patients get back to what they need and love to do.

In 2023 alone, Team Hand and Upper Extremity raised an incredible $122,000, bringing the Team’s overall raised to more than $200,000 since the event’s inception in 2019. Our success would not be possible without the generous support of our patients and community. With your help, we can achieve even more in 2024.

We will continue to put our mission into action by using the critical funds raised by Team Hand and Upper Extremity to support our research core, including our Hand and Upper Extremity Registry and our exceptional Research Assistants. Our Research Assistants help drive our investigations across the service in such conditions as traumatic nerve injuries, congenital deformities, tumors, and complex reconstruction. The combined effort of their work and the data within our Registry helps us examine the long-term effects of disease and the performance of surgical interventions and treatments, while also providing a deeper understanding of the physical, psychological, and socioeconomic impact of care for our patients.

We are riding in support of every person who suffers from a musculoskeletal condition because MOVEment, health, and wellness are more important than ever.
